Coffee from Yemen
Yemen is where coffee was first grown as a crop and traded, through the port of Mocha. Farms are small terraces in dry mountains, and most coffee is dried as whole cherries. Yemeni coffees are rare and often complex, with dried fruit, wine, and spice notes.
